This business started out of necessity.

Now, I do it because I love it.
Because I’ve seen firsthand how the right systems can be life-changing.

The Story Behind Grow and Thrive Business Solutions

This business didn’t start because I wanted it to — it started because I had to.

It all began when our kitchen flooded and we couldn't afford to fix it. Insurance would help, but only after the work was done.

As a stay-at-home mom, finding a job seemed impossible — childcare options were limited, waitlists were endless, and without childcare, working outside the home just wasn’t an option.

Desperate, I stumbled upon Virtual Assistance.

It seemed like the perfect fit — work from home, flexible hours — but I had no idea how to start.

By pure luck (and a connection from a former employer), I landed a contract that led to a part-time job. It was stable, especially with baby #2 on the way, but something inside me knew I was capable of more.

In May 2024, I took a leap. I signed up for a women's business conference, feeling like a complete fraud with no real business — just an idea.

That event changed everything. I landed my first client and officially launched my Virtual Assistance business.

For months, I balanced a part-time job, VA work on weekends, and full-time parenting.

Life eventually threw more challenges my way, and I made the hard decision to quit my part-time job and focus on my VA client. I needed a break.

But life had other plans.

I had forgotten I’d applied for a program designed to help small businesses refine and implement their ideas. When I was accepted, I didn’t feel excited — I felt doubtful. Did I belong there? Was I ready?

I said yes anyway.
And that yes changed everything.

Through that program, I formed my LLC, learned how to market myself, started signing more clients, and — most importantly — realized I wasn’t "just" a Virtual Assistant.

I was a specialist in business operations, systems, and process optimization.

I pivoted my business to focus solely on revamping backend systems for small businesses — and I haven’t looked back since.

I live in New Hampshire with my supportive husband, two tiny humans, and our fur baby, Lucy.
